"And remember the world is saved ..." (Moscow)
at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv




May 5,2001 - the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv honored the award winning Israeli participants in the competition, "And remember ... the world is saved."
Israelis were the most active participants in this poetry contest.

The broad international poetry competition, "And remember ... the world saved" was organized as part of the many and varied activities related to the Great people's victory over Nazi Germany.

The contest was organized and conducted by the Moscow Union of Friendship Societies with Peoples of Foreign Countries and the Internet portal "Stihi.ru" with the support of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo.

Russian-speaking compatriots in 22 countries through the offices and centers of science and culture of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo submitted their poems dedicated to the victory and the winners to Moscow for evaluation by a competent jury.

As a result, Moscow has published a collection of poems from 76 contestants who entered the offices Rossotrudnichestvo abroad.

It is gratifying that the largest number of poems in the contest came from Israel - a country where the Victory Day is celebrated with parades and processions by veteran soldiers, concerts and memorial art in the evenings.

    In a festive atmosphere with interested public representatives in attendance,the Director of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel,A.Kryukov solemnly presented honorary diplomas and the poetry collection,authors of whom were amongst the award winners, to 10 of the Israeli winners.

    Международного поэтического конкурса

    «И помнит мир спасённый…» (Москва)

     

             Среди многочисленных и разнообразных мероприятий, посвящённых Великой Победе народов над фашистской Германией состоялся широкий международный поэтический конкурс «И помнит мир спасённый…».

             Конкурс был организован и проводился Московским союзом обществ дружбы с народами зарубежных стран и Интернет-порталом «Стихи.ру» при поддержке ФА Россотрудничество. Русскоязычные соотечественники из 22 стран через представительства и центры науки и культуры ФА Россотрудничество направили в Москву на суд компетентного жюри свои стихи, посвящённые Победе и победителям. В итоге в Москве был издан сборник стихов 76 участников  конкурса, который поступил в представительства Россотрудничества за рубежом.

    Отрадно, что наибольшее количество стихотворений на конкурс пришло из Израиля – страны, где Праздник Победы широко отмечается массовыми парадами и шествиями ветеранов-фронтовиков, концертами и мемориально-художественными вечерами. Лауреатами конкурса из Израиля стали:

    5 мая в Российском культурном центре в Тель-Авиве состоялось чествование израильтян – участников конкурса «И помнит мир спасённый…». В праздничной обстановке при стечении заинтересованной публики руководитель представительства Россотрудничества А. Крюков торжественно вручил 10 израильским поэтам авторские экземпляры сборника и почётные дипломы.
