30 May 2011 - the VI Annual Conference of Immigrant Organizations
the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots, was held at Rishon Le Zion



May 30,2011 - Rishon Lezion hosted the VI Annual Conference of Immigrant Organizations,the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots.

The conference was attended by particpants from all over the country,representatives of 24 regional offices of the Association of Russian Immigrant affinity groups (VORZ),the country's largest organization of compatriots, as well as observers from a number of other public unions.

The Forum was opened by the permanent VORZ chairman, Michael Reif,in office since its inception in 2005, a well-known public figure of Israel, Knight of the Order of Friendship of Peoples of the Russian Federation.

He welcomed the delegates and guests from Moscow - from the Russian Foreign Ministry and representatives of the Parliamentary Union of the Russian Federation Council and a group of senior diplomats of the Russian Embassy in Israel, headed by Ambassador Petr Stegniy.

M. Reif gave a brief informative overview of the diverse cultural, educational and organizational activities carried out by the VORZ leadership during the reporting period.

Russia's Ambassador Petr Stegniy welcomed and addressed the audience and was greeted with applause.
He praised M.Reif's personal achievements and that of VORZ in strengthening the cooperation with Russia and uniting compatriots in Israel.

The Head of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel, Alexander Kryukov conveyed greetings from his fellow colleagues and the leadership of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo and spoke about the productive partnership and warm friendly relations existing among the Agencies and the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv with Israeli compatriots' organizations, veterans, artists, and professional associations of immigrants from the Soviet Union - CIS/FSU.

After the presentations, delegates of the regional VORZ offices , making the overall positive assessment of the organization's management and outcome of the conference, held election for its chairman, electing Michael Reif for a new term.

The evening ended with a small concert performed by Israelis - the winners of the international Compatriots "Russian Song" competition recently held in Moscow




 

В Израиле состоялась ежегодная конференция ВОРЗ

 

30 мая в Ришон ле-Ционе прошла VI ежегодная расширенная Всеизраильская конференция Координационного совета организаций российских соотечественников. Для участия в ней из всех концов страны прибыли представители 24 региональных отделений Всеизраильского объединения российских землячеств (ВОРЗ) – крупнейшей страновой организации соотечественников, а также наблюдатели от ряда других общественных союзов.

       Форум открыл бессменный председатель ВОРЗ с момента его создания в 2005 году Михаил Райф, известный общественный деятель Израиля, кавалер Ордена Дружбы народов Российской Федерации. Он приветствовал делегатов конференции, гостей из Москвы – представителей МИД РФ и Парламентского союза Совета Федерации РФ, а также группу старших дипломатов Посольства России в Израиле во главе с Послом П.В. Стегнием.

      М. Райф выступил с кратким содержательным сообщением о разнообразной культурно-просветительской и организационно-информационной работе, проделанной руководством ВОРЗ за отчётный период. Затем с приветствием к собравшимся обратился посол России П. Стегний, встреченный аплодисментами. Он дал высокую оценку деятельности ВОРЗ и лично М. Райфа по укреплению сотрудничества с Россией и сплочению соотечественников в Израиле.

 

    Руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле Александр Крюков передал соотечественникам приветствие от руководства ФА Россотрудничество и рассказал о продуктивных партнёрских и тёплых товарищеских отношениях, существующих у Представительства и Российского культурного центра в Тель-Авиве с израильскими организациями соотечественников, ветеранов, творческими и профессиональными союзами выходцев из СССР – СНГ.

      После выступлений делегатов региональных отделений ВОРЗ, принятия общей позитивной оценки работы руководства организации и итогового документа конференции состоялись выборы её председателя, которым на новый срок был избран Михаил Райф.

      Вечер завершился небольшим концертом израильтян – лауреатов недавно состоявшегося в Москве международного конкурса соотечественников «Русская песня».
