May 17 2011 Celebration of the journal "Russian literary echo" (Ashdod)



May 17 2011 ( one-third of Ashdod's population are Russian-speaking immigrants from the Soviet Union - the CIS ) a gala literary and musical evening dedicated to the publication of the 30th edition of the literary and journalistic magazine " Russian literary echo " was celebrated.

Under different names, the magazine published since 2004 and is a leading "thick" literary journal in southern Israel.
Its editorial board includes well-known writers in Russia and Israel, such as the writer, patriarch of Russian literature Anatoly Aleksin, novelist and translator, Efraim Bauch, member of the Union of Writers of Russia, Satirist Gennady Malkin, member of the Writers' Union of Ukraine journalist Felix Krivine.

Permanent editor in chief is the renowned scholar and writer, Professor Gregory Okun.
In addition to prose, poetry and journalism, written by Israeli authors of the journal, its pages are filled with regularly published works of Russian writers, so it's print edition, along with its primary literary and artistic tasks is the noble task of maintaining and strengthening the creative connections between Israeli and Russian writers between the literatures and peoples of Israel and Russia.
In his address to the creators and the authors the Head of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel,Alexander Kryukov, handed the editorial board members an album of engravings published by the FA Rossotrudnichestvo " Moscow XIX century ", plus a diploma of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel. The artistical part of the evening were performances by poets, who published their poems in the anniversary issue, as well as carefully selected musical pieces from the works of Beethoven, Mozart and Schubert.

Праздник журнала «Русское литературное эхо» (Ашдод)

        

17 мая в Ашдоде, треть населения которого составляют русскоязычные выходцы из СССР – СНГ, состоялся праздничный литературно-музыкальный вечер, посвящённый выходу в свет 30-го номера литературно-публицистического журнала «Русское литературное эхо».

         Под разными названиями журнал выходит с 2004 года, являясь ведущим «толстым» литературным журналом юга Израиля. В его редколлегию входят такие известные в России и Израиле литераторы, как прозаик, патриарх российской литературы Анатолий Алексин, прозаик и переводчик Эфраим Баух, член Союза писателей России сатирик Геннадий Малкин, член Союза писателей Украины публицист Феликс Кривин. Бессменным главным редактором журнала является известный учёный и литератор, профессор Григорий Окунь. 

Помимо прозы, стихов и публицистики, принадлежащих перу израильских авторов журнала, на его страницах регулярно публикуются произведения российских писателей, поэтому это печатное издание, наряду с выполнением своей основной литературно-художественной задачи, служит благородному делу поддержания и укрепления творческих связей между израильскими и российскими литераторами, между литературами и народами Израиля и России.

Всё это отметил в своём приветствии создателям и авторам журнала выступивший на вечере руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле Александр Крюков, вручивший членам редколлегии почётную грамоту представительства Россотрудничества и альбом гравюр Москвы XIX века.  

         Художественную часть вечера составили выступления поэтов, опубликовавших свои стихи в юбилейном номере, а также тщательно подобранные к ним музыкальные фрагменты из произведений Бетховена, Моцарта и Шуберта.
