at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv




February 10 - Diplomats Day ,Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv,Russian Diplomats celebrate their professional holiday .

Before the celebrations at the Russian Cultural Center, officials of the Russian Embassy, headed by Ambassador Piotr Stegniy participated in a prayer and memorial service for the first vice-consul of the Russian Empire in Palestine, VN Timofeev, at the Church of St. Pref. Petra, located in the Russian Orthodox Church-owned territory in the southern part of Tel Aviv.

The highlight at the Russian Cultural Center was the opening address by the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel,Alexander Kryukov, who congratulated his fellow diplomats on behalf of the Rossotrudnichestvo management and wished them success and good health.

Then, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy, AL Yurkov read a holiday greeting by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Further, the diplomats, technical staff of the Embassy and their family members were greeted by the Russian Ambassador Piotr Stegniy who spoke of the history of this professional holiday, to which he was personally involved as director of the History and Archives Department of the MFA.

A festive concert was given by pupils of the Russian school at the Embassy of Russia.
The young artists presented a literary and musical montage of the diplomatic service, told about the fate of prominent Russian diplomats, performed songs and read poems.

The Russian Diplomats were entertained by the famous pianist, Harry Neumark.
Then the young employees of the Embassy briefed the audience with interesting facts about the history of Russian diplomacy.

The celebration was also attended by Charge d'Affaires of Kazakhstan to Israel, EM Yakubaev, representatives of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Israel, and correspondents of television channels, "Russia and NTV.

В Тель-Авиве отметили российский праздник День дипломата

 

10 февраля в Российском культурном центре в Тель-Авиве торжественно отметили профессиональный праздник работников дипломатической службы России – День дипломата.

Перед праздником в РКЦ сотрудники Посольства России во главе с Послом П.В. Стегнием участвовали в молебне и панихиде по первому вице-консулу Российской империи в Палестине В.Н. Тимофееву в храме св. ап. Петра, расположенном на принадлежащей Русской православной церкви территории в южной части Тель-Авива.

Торжество в Российском культурном центре открыл руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле Александр Крюков, который поздравил коллег-дипломатов от имени руководства Россотрудничества, пожелал им успешной работы и доброго здоровья. Затем советник-посланник Посольства А.Л. Юрков зачитал праздничное приветствие Министра иностранных дел России С.В. Лаврова. Далее перед дипломатами, техническими сотрудниками Посольства и членами их семей выступил Посол России П.В. Стегний, рассказавший об истории создания профессионального праздника, к которой был причастен, будучи директором Историко-архивного департамента МИД.

Праздничный концерт открыли ученики школы при Посольстве России. Юные артисты представили литературно-музыкальный монтаж о дипломатической службе, рассказали о судьбах видных российских дипломатов, исполнили песни и прочли стихи. Перед россиянами также выступил известный пианист Гарри Неймарк. Затем молодые сотрудники Посольства ознакомили собравшихся с интересными фактами из истории российской дипломатии.

В празднике также приняли участие временный поверенный в делах Казахстана в Израиле Э.М. Якубаев, представители Русской духовной миссии в Израиле, корреспонденты телеканалов «Россия» и НТВ.
