30 April 2010 ,the staff of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel attended a meeting with the leaders, organizers and volunteers of the informational and educational project "Limmud" at the Yitzhak Rabin Center in Tel Aviv.

"Limmud" was launched in 2006 as an international project for Russian-speaking Jews.
The project holds regular conferences, round tables, master classes, lectures and seminars in many countries around the world - from Russia to the United States.

The audience of these meetings - the youth, do not lose touch with their roots and aim to build their national and cultural life in Russia.

The project is funded by more than twenty Jewish organizations and private foundations in several countries.

The Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Israel ,Alexander Kryukov held talks with the creator and project leader, the former head of the Jewish Agency for Israel ("Jewish Agency") in CIS Chaim Chesler and chairman of the Y. Rabin memorial and information center, Dalia Rabin.

J. Chesler spoke at length about the project "Limmud" to the Russian Representatives, and was invited to the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv to discuss possible cooperation.

Dr.Kryukov greeted the volunteers and organizers of the project, wished them success and invited them to events held in the RCC.
