Medals "65 Years of Victory in Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945"
awarded to Veterans in Beit Shemesh


27 April 2010 - Beit Shemesh,the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel, Alexander Kryukov presented veterans with medals "65 Years of Victory in Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."

MK from Kadima Maria Solodkin,also participated in the celebrations and the award ceremony ,congratulated the veterans on Victory Day and wished them health and strength.

Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel,congratulated the veterans of Great Patriotic War also on behalf of the Ambassador of Russia in Israel, PV Stegniy, and expressed his gratitude for their work in preserving the historical memory and distribution among the younger generation of Israelis with objective information about the actual events and the winners of the worst war in human history.

Kryukov, and M. Solodkin, as well as the head of the Jerusalem Committee of the Union Veterans VI Solomon handed veterans and home front workers jubilee medals, flowers and gift albums.

At the request of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus a number of veterans was also awarded a commemorative medal in honor of 65 anniversary of the liberation of Belarus.

Then members of the Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel visited a small museum of courage and heroism established by veterans of Beit Shemesh.

Director of the RCC, Kryukov signed the guest book of honorable guests of the museum.

27 апреля в Бейт-Шемеше руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле Александр Крюков произвёл награждение группы ветеранов медалями «65 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941-1945 гг.».

Церемонию награждения открыла также участвовавшая в торжестве депутат Кнессета от партии «Кадима» Мария Солодкина, которая поздравила ветеранов с наступающим Днём Победы и пожелала им здоровья и сил.

Руководитель представительства Россотрудничества от имени Посла России в Израиле П.В. Стегния поздравил ветеранов Великой Отечественной войны и выразил благодарность за их деятельность по сохранению исторической памяти и распространению среди молодого поколения израильтян объективной информации об истинных событиях и победителях в самой тяжёлой войне в истории человечества.

А. Крюков и М. Солодкина, а также руководитель иерусалимского комитета Союза ветеранов В.И. Соломонов вручили фронтовикам и труженикам тыла юбилейные медали, цветы и подарочные альбомы. По просьбе Посольства Республики Беларусь ряд ветеранов был также награждён юбилейной медалью в честь 65-летия освобождения Белоруссии.

Затем сотрудники представительства Россотрудничества посетили небольшой музей мужества и героизма, созданный ветеранами Бейт-Шемеша. Директор РКЦ А. Крюков оставил запись в книге почётных гостей музея.
