Medals "65 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945"
and a commemorative medal in honor of the 65th anniversary
of the complete lifting of the siege of Leningrad awarded to
Leningrad Blockadniks in Israel at a ceremony at the RCC Tel Aviv

On 23 March 2010, the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv hosted a ceremony awarding the members of the Union of the Leningrad blockade Israel ,medals "65 Years of Victory in Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." And a commemorative medal in honor of the 65th anniversary of the complete lifting of the siege of Leningrad.

Opening the ceremony, the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel, Kryukov welcomed the audience of former blockadniks. He again noted the unprecedented steadfastness and heroism of the inhabitants of the city on the Neva, who defended Leningrad during the 900 days of severe enemy blockade.

Awards were given by the Adviser of the Russian Embassy in Israel, AN Bagdatyev, the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel, AA Kryukov, and Chairman of the Union of the Leningrad blockade Israel SM Bahrul.

В Израиле продолжают чествовать ленинградских блокадников

 

23 марта в Российском культурном центре в Тель-Авиве состоялась торжественная церемония награждения членов Союза ленинградских блокадников Израиля медалями «65 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941-1945 гг.» и памятными медалями в честь 65-й годовщины полного снятия блокады Ленинграда.

Открывая церемонию, руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле А. Крюков приветствовал собравшихся блокадников. Он еще раз отметил беспрецедентные стойкость и героизм жителей города на Неве, отстоявших Ленинград в суровые 900 дней вражеской блокады.

Награждение проводили советник Посольства России в Израиле А.Н. Багдатьев, руководитель представительства Россотрудничества А.А. Крюков и председатель Союза ленинградских блокадников Израиля С.М. Баруля.
