16 March 2010, the cultural and educational series of interviews with the Russian-speaking Israeli children and their parents continue, this time was already the fifth such meeting at the RCC in Tel Aviv.

Opening the evening and leading the project, the Head of the the Russian language Department at the RCC, PhD T. Yatsuk spoke about the special role of mothers in maintaining and developing the native language of the child.

The epigraph of the meeting was a piece of film-tale "Mama" with the song "Mama - the first word," which echoed all -both children and adults.

A small concert dedicated to mothers and grandmothers, was presented by the students of the RCC Russian language courses for children.
The children demonstrated their language skills in a fun impromptu mock episode of " Winnie the Pooh " tales.

Of particular excitement and interest among the participants of the meeting was the interactive game "Pochemuchka":
children asked tricky "children's questions" to their mothers and grandmothers, who were supposed to answer them in good Russian, and in a simple form for the child.

The Games part of the meeting ended with a quiz for children and parents "Tunic in Russian fairy tale" ,accompanied by a slide show with images of famous art paintings by V. Vasnetsov and Vrubel.
The winners of the quiz, who correctly identified the names of the heroines of fairy tales, received as commemorative prizes colorful reproductions of the paintings displayed.

During the meeting, the participants were presented with a new Russian edition of the series "Russian language with my mother" of the RCC Educational and Methodical Russian Language Study Fund.

Another highlight at the end of the evening was the Russian animation of the cartoon film "Mother of a baby mammoth.
