March 11 2010,the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv hosted an evening with the well-known film director and producer Peter Mostovoy.

Opening the evening, the Head of the Representation of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel, Alexander Kryukov, welcomed the audience and introduced the distinguished guests, as well as the host of the evening - the author of the popular program "Person" at the 9-th channel, "Israel-plus" Israeli television Vladimir Bader.

A graduate of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, P. Mostovoy - author of more than 40 documentaries and 2 feature films for television, winner of numerous prizes and awards of Russian, as well as international film festivals. The Creativity gifted director is mentioned in articles in such prestigious publications as "The History of Soviet cinema" and "Collegiate kinoslovar."
Since 1993, P. Mostovoy lives and works in Israel.

The guest of honor told about the beginning of his career, the difficulties and discoveries in the process of creating the first movie, as well as those with whom he had a chance to work together.
The story was accompanied by excerpts from films masters "Look at his face" (1966), "The limit of the possible" (1984), "Two hours in the Holy Land" (2005).

Particular attention is paid to P. Mostovoy's latest work "Scene" (2005). Heroes of the tapes are artists - who came from the USSR / CIS, dreaming to find work in their artistic professions.
The film was shown repeatedly on Russian and Israeli television.

After the meeting the director answered questions from the public.
