October 22 for the second time their annual ceremony of
awarding the prizes of the Union of Russian writers in Israel (SRPI), winners
of the year - well-known Israeli writers and poets who write in Russian was
held in the Russian
Cultural Center
in Tel Aviv.
Opening the evening, Director of the RCC, AA Kryukov welcomed the Ambassador of Russia, PV Stegniy, always taken a
pleasure participating in the literary and artistic activities of the Center,
chairman SRPI famous Russian-Israeli writer and translator Efraim
Bauch, and all connoisseurs of Russia's literature gathered in the
RCC concert hall.
The first Prize. David Samoilov
was awarded to poetess - Svetlana Aksenova-Shteyngrud
for a book of poems "Faboideae warming" and
Susanna borowed for poetic collection
"Email".
The Poetess read a few selected poems from the award-winning
collections - emotional, philosophical, at times
deeply personal.
Prize laureate. Yu Nagibina
in 2009 became a famous writer,Jacob
Schechter, author of several popular novels, this
year was awarded for his Hasidic tales, as well as previous work. The writer made a story about
the history of several generations of his family, in many ways typical of the
general history of Russia's
Jews.
Concluding the list of the winners of this year satirists,. Ilf and Petrov. Well-known in Russia, the
author of 20 books of aphorisms, the Israeli humorist Gennady Malkin was awarded a new three-volume collection of
aphorisms. Master complex genre aphoristic
phrases, G. Malkin conquered the audience with his
sharp and deep philosophical maxims, almost all of which evoked in the hall
sincere laughter and applause.
Well-known in Ukraine,
Russia and Israel,
playwright, novelist and satirist Alexander Kanevsky
won an award for his great autobiographical novel "Laugh, clown!", Who managed to win the reader's well-deserved
popularity. In the RCC has twice held
personal evenings A. Kanevsky, however, the audience
listened with genuine pleasure, when the author read excerpts from the
aforementioned novel.
Management SRPI and
awarded writers expressed their deep appreciation for the RFP preparation and
holding of the solemn evening and awards ceremony.
