The Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv,during the art festival of the Union of disabled Soldiers and Partisans from the war against Nazism hosted a recital and presentation of a new book by writer and poet, front-tanker, and surgeon, MD Jonas Ion Degen.

The meeting with this famous writer was attented by the leaders of the Union of disabled Soldiers and Partisans -the president of the Union, Brigadier General Retired Roman Jagel, his deputy Kleiner, war veterans and many readers.

Memorial decorations for the hall were paintings on military themes and a copy of the legendary Victory Banner.

Opening the evening, the Head of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel, Alexander Kryukov, spoke about the fruitful collaboration with veteran organizations and the Art Festival to be held throughout the year and presented Ion Degen, a legendary man of destiny.

In his speech, Ion Degen shared front-line memories, talked about his artistic destiny, which was attended by Konstantin Simonov, Yevgeny Yevtushenko, Vladimir Nekrasov, and other famous Russian writers and poets.
Writers and poets read excerpts from the new book "Notes of a Lieutenant", as well as poems written on the front and at the present time.
Professor Degen who is an experienced orthopedic surgeon, spoke about the development of his scientific career, interesting cases of extensive medical practice. I. Degen's recital was accompanied by songs of the war years through the penetrating performance of the famous singer Olga Umansky.

In conclusion, Ion Degen answered numerous questions from admirers of his literary work and thanked his patients for their kind words about his mastery of a gifted surgeon.

Творческий вечер писателя-фронтовика Иона Дегена в РКЦ

 

В Российском культурном центре в Тель-Авиве в рамках Фестиваля творчества Союза воинов и партизан – инвалидов войны с нацизмом, состоялся творческий вечер и презентация новой книги писателя и поэта, фронтовика-танкиста, хирурга, доктора медицинских наук Иона Дегена.

На встречу с известным литератором пришли руководители Союза воинов и партизан – президент Союза, бригадный генерал в отставке Роман Ягель, его заместитель Завелий Кляйнер, ветераны войны и многочисленные читатели. Мемориально-художественное оформление зала составили картины на военную тему и копия легендарного Знамени Победы.

Открывая вечер, руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле Александр Крюков рассказал о плодотворном сотрудничестве с ветеранскими организациями и о художественном Фестивале, который будет проходить на протяжении всего года, а также представил И. Дегена, человека легендарной судьбы.

В своём выступлении И. Деген поделился фронтовыми воспоминаниями, рассказал о своей творческой судьбе, в которой принимали участие К. Симонов, Е. Евтушенко, В. Некрасов и другие известные российские поэты и писатели. Прозаик и поэт прочитал фрагменты из новой книги «Записки гвардии лейтенанта», а также стихи, написанные на фронте и в настоящее время. Опытнейший хирург-ортопед, профессор Деген рассказал о развитии его научной карьеры, интересных случаях из обширной медицинской практики. Выступление И. Дегена сопровождалось песнями военных лет в проникновенном исполнении известной певицы Ольги Уманской.

В заключение встречи И. Деген ответил на многочисленные вопросы ценителей его литературного творчества и поблагодарил своих пациентов за добрые слова о его мастерстве одарённого хирурга.
