celebrate the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Day



On February 23 2011,on Russia's "Defenders of the Fatherland" Day,the Union of disabled soldiers and partisans from the war with the Nazis held a gala evening at one of the main cultural centers of Tel Aviv.

The official part of the leadership and activists of the Union held a meeting earlier that discussed current issues and the work of their city and regional offices.

The Union's institutions awarded Diplomas and valuable gifts testifying of Jewish heroism to I. Zandman and A. Cohen, the authors of essays about the Great Patriotic War, to the Israeli winners of the contest conducted by the FA Rossotrudnichestvo "And remember the world is saved ..." and to the winner of creative works "The Great Victory in the fate of my family."

Opening the solemn part, the President of the Union, Retired Brigadier General Roman Jagel welcomed the guests and congratulated everyone on this holiday.

The Head of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel,Alexander Kryukov, said a lot of work is being done to preserve the glorious traditions of the fighters who defeated German fascism, including the holding of various events in honor of the military history on holidays and anniversaries.

A. Kryukov was awarded a diploma of honorary member of the Union of Disabled Soldiers and Partisans.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine, GA Nadolenko, Ambassador of Belarus IA Leschenya, Ambassador of Kazakhstan, GI Orazbakov, Military Attache of the Russian Embassy VP Kotogarov and representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan.

В Израиле ветераны войны отметили День защитника Отечества

 

23 февраля в одном из крупных культурных центров Тель-Авива состоялся торжественный вечер израильского Союза воинов и партизан – инвалидов войны с нацистами, посвящённый российскому Дню защитника Отечества.

Перед торжественной частью руководство и активисты Союза провели собрание, на котором обсудили текущие вопросы и работу своих городских и окружных отделений.

Дипломами и ценными подарками Фонда увековечения еврейского героизма им. И. Зандмана и А. Коэна, учреждённого Союзом, были награждены авторы эссе о Великой Отечественной войне – израильские лауреаты проведённого Россотрудничеством конкурса «И помнит мир спасённый…», а также победительница конкурса творческих работ «Великая Победа в судьбе моей семьи».

Открывая торжественную часть, президент Союза воинов и партизан – инвалидов войны с нацистами бригадный генерал в отставке Роман Ягель приветствовал гостей и поздравил всех с праздником.

Руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле Александр Крюков в своём выступлении отметил большую работу по сохранению славных традиций воинов, победивших немецкий фашизм, в том числе проведение различных мероприятий в честь военно-исторических праздников и памятных дат. А. Крюкову был вручен диплом почётного члена Союза инвалидов.

На встрече присутствовали Посол Украины Г.А. Надоленко, Посол Беларуси И.А. Лещеня, Посол Казахстана Г.И. Оразбаков, военный атташе Посольства России В.П. Котогаров, представители посольства Узбекистана.
