MOSCOW - The President of Russia,Dmitry Medvedev visited Moscow's education centre 627.
The President spoke with students and their teachers, and visited several classes. President Medvedev inspected the premises where classes are held, and was shown the preschool branch of the centre.
Dmitry Medvedev watched a computer animation that preschoolers had made, and was told about the school newspaper publication.
He also visited the Museum of Military Glory of 4th Guards Red Banner Tank Army located within the school, where war veterans had gathered today. The President congratulated them on the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and school students told Mr Medvedev about their preparations for the celebration of Victory.
The President participated in a video link-up with a partner of education center 627, the Master Institute of Education Technologies in Tomsk (Western Siberia).
During Mr Medvedev’s meeting with teachers, they discussed designing a support system for teachers involved in the new teaching methods development and implementation, as well as in promoting cooperation between schools, universities and the business community. Teachers’ performance review and the technical equipment of schools were also discussed.
School 627 opened in 1936 and as of 2006 has the status of an education centre and cooperates with several universities. Graduate students may specialize in either of the four areas: physics and mathematics, chemistry and biology, economics and social sciences or the humanities.

בחודש מאי תפתח התערוכה "מחווה לגליוק" - ציורים של אמנים קרפטו רוסיים ורוסיים בני המאה ה-20, חלק מאוסף של משפ' הנס-גליוק.
התערוכה תוצג במרכז תרבות רוסי בת"א לציון 65 שנה לניצחון הסובייטי על גרמניה הנאצית, בין התאריכים 4.5-8.6.2010.
הפתיחה החגיגית הינה סגורה למוזמנים בלבד במעמד שגרירי רוסיה ואוקראינה ומכובדים אחרים. היצירות למכירה וזו הזדמנות לאספנים ואהבי אמנות להחשף ליצירות מקוריות של אמנים מברית המועצות לשעבר מהשנים 1950',1960',1970'.
Exhibition "Homage to Glyuk", Paintings of Gavriil Martinovich Glyuk and Carpathian and Russian Artists of the XX Century.
The exhibition will be shown at the Russian Cultural Center in TLV, from May 4- June 8, 2010, and it marks the 65th Anniversary of the Soviet Army victory over Nazi Germany.
The Ambassadors of Russia and Ukraine will open the Exhibition and honorable guests are also invited.
This is a great opportunity to collectors and art lovers to see and aquire original artworks painted in the years 1950's 1960's 1970's by Carpathian and Russian artists.
