18 June 2011 - Annual Sabantuy Tatar festival
celebrated in Israel near the town of Kiryat Gat




One of the most popular and beloved celebrations of folk peoples of the Volga, southern Urals, and Kazakhstan is Sabantuy Tatar, which is annually celebrated by representatives of the Turkic peoples living in Israel,who came from the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as Israelis.

Another such festival was held on June 18 in the woods near the town of Kiryat Gat. It was organized by the Association of Turkic people of Israel (leader - Ravil Sadykov).
The festival was hosted by the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan through its Director of the All-Russia Fund "Tatar family" (Kazan) Milaushu Gaifullin, who sent the young and talented singer Ilyusu Khuzin to Israel to participate in the festival.

The head of the Israel Association of Turkic peoples, Sadykov opened the Sabantuy festival and spoke about the significance of the holiday and its customs.

Then M. Gaifullin addressed the participants in the celebration, conveyed greetings from the President of Tatarstan R. Minnikhanov in Russian and the Tatar language " to all participants in the holiday regions of Russia and abroad."

The Head of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Israel, Kryukov welcomed the activities of the public associations of the Israelites in the preservation of national cultures and traditions, and spoke of the fruitful cooperation of the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv with the Association of the Turkic peoples of Israel.
The RCC in Tel Aviv so far has organized two national cultural evenings.

The participants were pleased with the national Tatar songs student in his 4th year at the Kazan Conservatory Ilyusa Khuzin,as well as with known singer Radha Tselobanova and folk songs performed by Zakir Zaripov and the performers of folk dances and Puppet Theatre artists, Nelly and Teplitskaya Milyausha Gelfand.

Also a national youth sports race was organized.
National dishes of the Tatar cuisine were available for tasting.

Сабантуй празднуют и в Израиле

 

         Одним из наиболее популярных и любимых народных праздников народов Поволжья, Южного Урала и Казахстана является татарский Сабантуй, который ежегодно отмечают и живущие в Израиле выходцы из Республики Татарстан, а также израильтяне – представители тюркских народов.

Очередной такой праздник состоялся 18 июня в лесу близ города Кирьят-Гат. Он был организован Объединением тюркских народов Израиля (рук. – Равиль Садыков), по приглашению которого Министерство культуры Татарстана направило в Израиль для участия в празднике директора Всероссийского фонда «Татарская семья» (Казань) Милаушу Гайфуллину и молодую одарённую певицу Илюсу Хузину.

Сабантуй открыл руководитель Объединения тюркских народов Израиля Р. Садыков, рассказавший о значении праздника и его обычаях. Затем к участникам торжества обратилась М. Гайфуллина, зачитавшая по-русски и на татарском языке приветствие Президента Татарстана Р. Минниханова всем участникам праздника в регионах России и зарубежье.   

Руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле А. Крюков приветствовал деятельность общественных объединений израильтян по сохранению национальных культур и традиций и рассказал о плодотворном сотрудничестве Российского культурного центра в Тель-Авиве с Объединением тюркских народов Израиля, которое провело в РКЦ уже два национально-культурных вечера.

Собравшихся порадовали национальными татарскими песнями студентка IV курса Казанской консерватории Илюса Хузина, известная певица Радха Целобанова, народные напевы исполнила Закира Зарипова.  Также выступили исполнители народных танцев и артисты Театра кукол Неля Теплицкая и Миляуша Гельфанд. Затем состоялись состязания молодёжи по национальным видам спорта. Завершился праздник дегустацией национальных блюд татарской кухни.
