Exhibition on the 120th anniversary of Russian writer
Mikhail Bulgakov Afanasievich (1891-1940)at the RCC in Tel Aviv

In May we celebrate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Bulgakov Afanasievich (1891-1940) - Russian writer with a dramatic fate, the author of one of the most significant works of world literature of the twentieth century - the novel "The Master and Margarita", brilliantly translated into Hebrew by Peter Kriksunovym.

On the anniversary of the outstanding prose writer and playwright a literary and art exhibition entitled "Manuscripts do not burn ..." ,dedicated to the life and work of Mikhail Bulgakov was opened in the library of the Russian cultural center in Tel Aviv.

The exhibition presents the publication of novels, short stories and plays, Bulgakov, memoirs and biographical literature and literary study of his works.
Of particular interest among the visitors are the different interpretations of the novel "The Master and Margarita".

Russian Language and Literature teachers at Israeli schools and universities were offered educational tools and lesson development, dedicated to the works of Mikhail Bulgakov.

Artworks of the writer's portraits, collages and illustrations to his works were also shown at the exhibition.
In the media section of the exposition audiobooks "Heart of a Dog," "White Guard" and "Master and Margarita", performed by famous artists of Russian theaters were presented.
In the reading room of the library exhibition visitors can also watch the documentary "Bulgakov. Moscow -"Batum" relationship with the writer's authority, and author of the famous Russian literary critic film Igor Zolotussky "Mikhail Bulgakov. Novels and their destiny. "

The exhibition will continue until May 30.

В мае отмечается 120-летие со дня рождения Михаила Афанасьевича Булгакова (1891-1940) – русского писателя с драматической судьбой, автора одного из знаковых произведений мировой литературы ХХ века – романа «Мастер и Маргарита», блестяще переведённого на иврит Петром Криксуновым. К юбилею выдающегося прозаика и драматурга в библиотеке Российского культурного центра в Тель-Авиве открылась литературно-художественная экспозиция «Рукописи не горят…», посвящённая жизни и творчеству М. Булгакова.
На выставке представлены издания романов, повестей, рассказов и пьес Булгакова, мемуарно-биографическая литература и литературоведческие исследования его произведений. Особый интерес у посетителей выставки вызывают различные интерпретации текста романа «Мастер и Маргарита».
Вниманию преподавателей русского языка и литературы израильских школ и вузов предлагаются учебно-методические пособия и разработки уроков, посвящённых творчеству М. Булгакова.
Художественную часть выставки составляют портреты писателя, коллажи и иллюстрации к его произведениям.
В мультимедийном разделе экспозиции представлены аудиокниги «Собачье сердце», «Белая гвардия» и «Мастер и Маргарита» в исполнении известных артистов российских театров. В читальном зале библиотеки посетители выставки также могут посмотреть документальный фильм «Булгаков. Москва – «Батум» о взаимоотношениях писателя с властью, а также авторский фильм известного российского литературоведа Игоря Золотусского «Михаил Булгаков. Романы и их судьба».
Выставка продолжит работу до 30 мая.
