13 May 2011 - Ashdod: International Football Tournament in honor of Victory Day




May 13,2011 - Ashdod hosted the 2nd International tournament on mini-football, dedicated to Victory Day.

The match was attended by the CIS and Baltic countries diplomatic team , the players of Ashdod, the combined channel "Israel Plus" team, radio "radio first" team in the Georgian language TV channel «GTV» and the team "Spartak" from Be'er Sheva.

Culture and Sport Minister Limor Livnat opened the tournament ,and warmly welcomed the veterans, organizers and participants of the competition.

Further welcoming remarks were made by the Mayor of Ashdod, Dr. Ihiel Lasri, initiator and chief organizer of the tournament, vice Mayor Boris Giterman, the tournament director, a former goalkeeper of the USSR Alexander Uvarov.

The Head of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel,Alexander Kryukov,spoke on behalf of the embassies of Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Lithuania - countries which have entered athletes in the team of the diplomatic corps.
He congratulated the veterans on the holiday, and also thanked the municipality of the city and the organizers of the tournament for an interesting event.

Before the match members of military-historical reinactment club Ashdod displayed their weapons, dressed as Soviet soldiers during the Great Patriotic War, and to the applause of the audience solemnly unfurled a copy of the Victory Banner.

In the second memorial tournament,the TV channel "Israel Plus" team won, and dedicated their achievement to the veterans. The team of the diplomats players won an honorable third place.

The tournament was covered by journalists, national and local media.
The FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel supported the event informally.

Ашдод: Международный турнир по футболу в честь Дня Победы

 

13 мая в Ашдоде состоялся 2-й Международный турнир по мини-футболу, посвященный Дню Победы. В состязании приняли участие команда дипломатического корпуса стран СНГ и Балтии, футболисты Ашдода, сборная телеканала «Израиль плюс», команда радиостанции «Первое радио», сборная телеканала на грузинском языке «GTV» и команда «Спартак» из Беэр-Шевы.

Открыла турнир министр культуры и спорта Лимор Ливнат, которая тепло приветствовала ветеранов войны, организаторов и участников состязания. Также выступили мэр Ашдода д-р Ихиэль Ласри, инициатор и главный организатор турнира вице-мэр города Борис Гитерман, директор турнира, бывший вратарь сборной СССР Александр Уваров.

Руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле Александр Крюков от имени посольств России, Белоруссии, Узбекистана, Казахстана, Азербайджана и Литвы – стран, спортсмены которых вошли в сборную команду дипкорпуса, поздравил ветеранов с майскими праздниками, а также выразил благодарность муниципалитету города и организаторам турнира за интересное мероприятие.

Перед началом матчей участники военно-исторического клуба  Ашдода в форме и с оружием советских солдат времён Великой Отечественной войны прошли по полю и под аплодисменты зрителей торжественно развернули копию Знамени Победы.

Во втором мемориальном турнире победу одержала команда телеканала «Израиль плюс», посвятившая своё достижение ветеранам Великой Отечественной войны. Сборная дипломатов-футболистов заняла почётное 3-е место.

Турнир освещали журналисты центральных и местных СМИ. В информационной поддержке мероприятия также участвовало представительство Россотрудничества в Израиле.
