7 April 2011, Exhibition " Odessa, my home town ..."
opens at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv




7 April,2011 - In anticipation of the upcoming 67th anniversary of the liberation of Odessa by the Soviet Army from the Nazis (April 10), in conjunction with the Embassy of Ukraine, a photo exhibition "Odessa from the beginning of the twentieth century" which was provided by the mayor's office in Odessa, was opened at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.

The Odessa theme was continued in the collective exhibition of paintings by artists - immigrants from Odessa, " Nice Ukraine ",exhibiting paintings by Savelii Rosenblum (Ramat Gan), Ghalia Caramel (Netanya), Bella Margulis (Beer Sheva), Tatiana Belokonenko (Haifa).

Sofala Kelman (Petah Tikva) showed Jewellery and articles made of precious stones .
The exhibition of miniature sculptures by Henry Gothenburg (Ramat Gan), "The Tale of bronze " was of particular attention and attracted many guests.

Opening the evening, the Head of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel, Alexander Kryukov, welcomed the many Israelis, immigrants from Odessa, Ukraine and introduced the artists and craftsmen.

The Chancelor of the Embassy of Ukraine, Rustam Azhdar thanked the representative and the Russian Cultural Center for hosting the exhibition dedicated to Odessa, and also expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.

The head of the Professional Artists Association ,Emil Israel Vulfin pointed out the special atmosphere and flair of Odessa in the exhibition halls of the RCC.

The opening day was attended by members of the Russian Embassy, Journalists, leaders of creative unions and Israeli amateurs painting.

«Одесса, мой город родной…» в РКЦ

 

В Российском культурном центре в Тель-Авиве в преддверии приближающейся 67-й годовщины освобождения Одессы Советской Армией от немецко-фашистских захватчиков (10 апреля) совместно с Посольством Украины была развёрнута выставка фотографий «Одесса. Начало ХХ века», предоставленная мэрией Одессы.

Одесская тема была продолжена в коллективной выставке картин художников – выходцев из Одессы «На Украйне милой…». Свои работы представили Савелий Розенблюм (Рамат-Ган), Галия Кармели (Натания), Белла Маргулис (Беэр-Шева), Татьяна Белоконенко (Хайфа). Украшения и поделки из драгоценных камней продемонстрировала Софана Кельман (Петах-Тиква). Особое внимание гостей привлекла выставка миниатюрных скульптур Генриха Готенберга (Рамат-Ган) «Сказка в бронзе».

Открывая вечер, руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле Александр Крюков приветствовал собравшихся израильтян –выходцев из Одессы и Украины и представил художников и мастеров.

Советник Посольства Украины Рустам Аждар поблагодарил представительство и РКЦ за проведение выставки, посвящённой Одессе, а также выразил надежду на дальнейшее плодотворное сотрудничество.

Руководитель Объединения профессиональных художников Израиля Эмиль Вульфин отметил особую одесскую атмосферу, царящую в выставочных залах РКЦ.

На вернисаже присутствовали сотрудники Посольства России, журналисты, руководители творческих союзов и израильские любители живописи.
