26 April 2011 - Veterans Conference " Nuremberg - Trial of the peoples against fascism "
at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv




April 26,2011 - A scientific and historic conference on the 65th anniversary of the Nuremberg Trials - the International Criminal Tribunal on former leaders of Nazi Germany, was held.

The forum was organized by the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel together with the Russian Embassy and the Veterans Union of World War II - the fighters against Nazism.

Opening the conference, the head of Mission Alexander Kryukov said particular importance to the international tribunal and the verdict of the Nazi war criminals was the exposing of the Nazi hate ideology, which adherents of the world brought great suffering, had cost countless human lives,and gave rise to the Holocaust.

Chairman of the Veterans Union of the Second World War, Abram Grinzayd thanked the Russian Embassy and the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel for their comprehensive assistance and stressed the fact that the conference is taking place in the Russian Cultural Center on the eve of Victory Day.

The screen showed excerpts from a documentary film about the Nuremberg trials, which was funded by the RCC.
David Zelva, Director of the Military-Historical Museum "The energy of courage" (Hadera), presented unique original documents from the Nuremberg trials that have been stored by the families of members of the Soviet delegation, some of whom now live in Israel.

The Cultural Attache of the Embassy of Russia, Anton Chermensky spoke about the trial and some little known interesting facts and quoted statements from the Chief Prosecutors of the victorious countries.
The Representative in Israel of the Russian Educational Center "Holocaust", Gregory Reichman gave a presentation on the role of the Nuremberg trials in the formation of an evidence base to expose the Nazis, the genocide of the Jewish people, and also introduced thematic publications.

The conference was attended by members of the Russian Embassy, military attaches, leaders and activists of the of the regional offices of the veterans union , historians and journalists.




Конференция в Тель-Авиве: Нюрнберг – суд народов над фашизмом

 

 

26 апреля в Российском культурном центре в Тель-Авиве состоялась научно-историческая конференция, посвящённая 65-летию Нюрнбергского процесса – международного трибунала над бывшими руководителями гитлеровской Германии. Форум был организован представительством Россотрудничества в Израиле совместно с Посольством России и Союзом ветеранов Второй мировой войны – борцов против нацизма.
Открывая конференцию, руководитель представительства Александр Крюков отметил особое значение деятельности и вердикта международного трибунала над нацистскими преступниками для изобличения человеконенавистнической фашистской идеологии, адепты которой принесли миру огромные страдания и бесчисленные человеческие жертвы, породили Холокост.
Председатель Союза ветеранов Второй мировой войны Абрам Гринзайд поблагодарил Посольство России и представительство Россотрудничества за разностороннюю помощь и особо отметил тот факт, что конференция проходит в РКЦ накануне Дня Победы.
На экране был продемонстрирован фрагмент документального фильма о Нюрнбергском процессе из фондов РКЦ.
Давид Зельвенский, директор военно-исторического музея «Энергия мужества» (Хадера), представил уникальные подлинные документы с Нюрнбергского процесса, сохранённые в семьях членов советской делегации, некоторые из которых ныне живут в Израиле. Атташе по вопросам культуры Посольства России Антон Черменский рассказал о ходе процесса и некоторых малоизвестных интересных фактах, а также процитировал выступления главных обвинителей от стран-победительниц.
Представитель в Израиле Российского просветительского центра «Холокост» Григорий Рейхман выступил с докладом о роли Нюрнбергского процесса в формировании доказательной базы для изобличения нацистов, осуществлявших геноцид еврейского народа, а также представил тематические печатные издания.
В работе конференции участвовали сотрудники Посольства России, военного атташата, руководители и активисты ветеранских союзов из региональных отделений, историки и журналисты.
