13 April 2011 -Evening dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the famous conductor of the USSR People's Artist Nathan Rachlin (1906-1976).
at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv




April 13 a concert in memory of famous conductor Nathan Rakhlin was given at the RCC in Tel Aviv, during a special evening dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the renowned conductor.

A special emotional atmosphere prevailed in the hall where many Israeli admirers of his talent, musicians, musicologists and many lovers of classical music came together to partake in this special evening. Unique entries from the Symphony Orchestra conducted by N. Rakhlin could also be heard.

Opening the evening, the Head of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel, Alexander Kryukov briefly described the importance of N. Rakhlin's creativity for the development of Soviet and world music, and introduced the Russian-Israeli musicologist, Honored Artist of Russia and Tatarstan Prof. George Cantor (Beer Sheva), author of books about the life and work of Nathan Rachlin,noting the significant contribution to the formation of the Cantor Musicological Section at the RCC library - more than 100 books about music from his personal collection.
Dr Kryukov presented the artistic album of Moscow as a gift to Prof Cantor.

Prof. Cantor introduced to the public the biographical pictures of N. Rachlin, shot in Kazan, where the maestro for many years headed the State Symphony Orchestra of Tatarstan.
He then gave a presentation of books published in Israel by Prof. Cantor "Life is for eternity", about memories of N. Rachlin and the correspondence with him.

The exciting highlight of the evening was the appearance on the stage of N. Rakhlin's orchestra students, known Israeli musicians - Raisa Dragobetskoy (Rishon Lezion), Benjamin Reichlin (Zichron Yaakov), Maya Geller (Jerusalem), Tatiana Litinsky (Rehovot), Nahum Zaidel ( Jerusalem), Gennadi Saveliev and concerts host Paola Saveleva (Holon), who shared their memories of the personality and unique talent of the conductor.

At the end of the evening concert pianist, virtuoso ,international awards winner Raymonda Sheynfeld (Beer Sheva),performed the works of Russian and world classics.




Вечер памяти дирижёра Натана Рахлина в Тель-Авиве

 

13 апреля в Российском культурном центре в Тель-Авиве состоялся вечер, посвящённый 105-летию выдающегося дирижёра Народного артиста СССР Натана Рахлина (1906–1976). В зале, где собрались израильские почитатели его таланта, музыканты, музыковеды и многочисленные ценители классической музыки, звучали уникальные записи симфонического оркестра под управлением Н. Рахлина, создавая особую эмоциональную атмосферу.
Открывая вечер, руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле Александр Крюков коротко охарактеризовал значение творчества Н. Рахлина для развития советской и мировой музыкальной культуры, а также представил российско-израильского музыковеда, Заслуженного деятеля искусств России и Татарстана проф. Георгия Кантора (Беэр-Шева), автора книг о жизни и творчестве Натана Рахлина. Отметив значительный вклад Г. Кантора в формирование музыковедческого раздела библиотеки РКЦ – более 100 книг о музыке из личного собрания, А. Крюков преподнёс ему в дар художественный альбом о Москве.
Проф. Г. Кантор представил вниманию публики биографический фильм о Н. Рахлине, снятый в Казани, где маэстро долгие годы возглавлял Государственный симфонический оркестр Татарской АССР. Затем состоялась презентация изданной в Израиле книги Г. Кантора «Жизнь для вечности», составленной из воспоминаний о Н. Рахлине и переписки с ним.
Волнующим моментом вечера стало появление на сцене учеников и оркестрантов Н. Рахлина, известных израильских музыкантов – Раисы Драгобецкой (Ришон ле-Цион), Вениамина Райхлина (Зихрон-Яаков), Майи Геллер (Иерусалим), Татьяны Литинской (Реховот), Наума Зайделя (Иерусалим), Геннадия Савельева и ведущей концертов Паолы Савельевой (Холон), которые поделились своими воспоминаниями о личности и уникальном даровании дирижёра.
В завершение вечера состоялся концерт лауреата международных премий пианистки Раймонды Шейнфельд (Беэр-Шева), виртуозно исполнившей произведения русской и мировой классики.
