of Russian-speaking Israelis Radio REKA (Reshet klitat aliya)




Petah Tikva, Israel,February 26, a solemn evening dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Russian-speaking Israelis beloved older radio REKA (Reshet klitat aliya).
The event was sponsored by the Jewish Agency.

Master of ceremonies was the chief editor of the Radio, Michael Gilboa and his deputy, Victoria Dolinskaya.
They briefly described the history of Radio REKA, and then invited their leading journalists on the scene - Tatiana Barsky, Alexander Dov, Freddy Ben Nathan and others to the podium.

Each of them told the audience what REKA means in their life. The speeches were interspersed with musical numbers: eight-year Danel Rubinstein, sang a Hebrew song, which will represent Israel at the international festival "Slavic Bazaar".

New immigrant, Oleg Joseph sang the songs of Vertinsky and Russian romances, and Aleksandr Dov, as always, brilliantly sang songs of Galich.
Gilboa and his colleagues congratulated the Israeli ambassador from Moscow in Russia, Dorit Golender-Drucker, in the past - the director and editor in chief of the station, as well as the head of the Russian Cultural Centre in Tel Aviv, Professor Alexander Kryukov.

He noted that REKA has made and is making a substantial contribution by providing cultural information, and spiritual integration of hundreds of thousands of Russian-speaking Jews into Israeli society which is new to them.

The Press secretary of the Jewish Agency, David Schechter said that REKA is a unique radio station, as the leading Hebrew-speaking Israeli media have a local audience rating several times lower (than that of REKA).

The Radio intends to continue the celebration of the anniversary, including another gala evening in one of the concert halls in Israel in the near future.

20 лет радиостанции РЭКА

26 февраля в Петах-Тикве в зале «Шарет» муниципалитета прошел торжественный вечер, посвящённый 20-летию любимой русскоязычными израильтянами старшего возраста радиостанции РЭКА (Рэшет клитат алия). Спонсором мероприятия выступило Еврейское агентство.
Ведущими вечера были главный редактор радиостанции Михаэль Гильбоа и его заместитель Виктория Долинская. Они кратко рассказали историю возникновения радио РЭКА, а затем пригласили на сцену ведущих журналистов р/станции – Татьяну Барскую, Александра Дова, Фредди бен Натана и других. Каждый из них поведал собравшимся о том, что значит РЭКА в его жизни. Выступления перемежались музыкальными номерами: восьмилетняя Данэль Рубинштейн, "открытая" в одной из передач РЭКА, спела на иврите песню, с которой она будет представлять Израиль на международном фестивале "Славянский базар". Новый репатриант Олег Йосеф исполнил песни Вертинского и русские романсы, а Александр Дов, как всегда, блестяще спел песни Галича.
Гильбоа и его коллег поздравила из Москвы посол Израиля в России Дорит Голендер-Друкер в прошлом – директор и главный редактор радиостанции, а также глава Российского культурного центра профессор Александр Крюков. Он отметил, что РЭКА внесла и вносит немалый вклад в мягкую культурно-информационную и духовную интеграцию сотен тысяч русскоговорящих евреев в новое для них израильское общество.
Пресс-секретарь Сохнута Давид Шехтер подчеркнул, что РЭКА – уникальная радиостанция, поскольку ведущие ивритоязычные СМИ Израиля имеют у местной аудитории рейтинг в несколько раз ниже.
Руководство радиостанции намерено продолжить празднование своего юбилея и предполагает в скором будущем устроить очередной торжественный вечер в одном из концертных залов Израиля.
