Literary evening of Writers from Ashdod
in the Russian Cultural Center




January 12, 2011 the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, hosted a special evening of the in Israel well-known literary and art magazine "Russian literary echo, published in Ashdod for a number of years, supported by Vice-Mayor Boris Giterman.

Opening the evening, the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel, Alexander Kryukov, spoke about the productive and diverse RCC contacts with creative and veterans organizations, and the Russian community in Ashdod, in particular, which participates in the annual international competition of Russian poetry.

The award established by the Russian Cultural Center named after B. Dobin, in respect for the Russian language in literary works.
Kryukov, also praised the contribution of the authors of the journal "Russian literary echo to the popularization of Russian culture in Israel and maintaining cultural links with colleagues in Russia.

Then the master of ceremonies, the deputy chief editor, member of Russian writers, writer and poet Assia Teplovodskaya gave the floor to the chief editor, literary critic Professor Gregory Okun, whose 90th birthday was celebrated last year.
Among the statements of writers and journalists, regular contributors of the journal, the member of the editorial board and the poet Hanan Tokarevich, encouraged by the many fans of Russian literature of poetry and art, sang "Waltz of Ashdod."

The concert program of the evening with songs in Russian and Hebrew was conducted by young Dana Nemirovskaya, the famous singer in Israel from children's ensemble "Ashdod Flowers", winner of the contest-Israeli "Gold Nine" (2009) in the category of "Stars of the Future".

Honorary guests of the evening were regular contributors - the patriarch of Soviet literature Anatoly Aleksin and his wife, writer-memoirist Tatiana Alexina, as well as the famous writer and translator, chairman of the Federation of the Writers Unions in Israel, Efraim Bauch and secretary of the Union of Russian Writers, Israeli scholar and writer Leonid Finkel.

Литераторы из Ашдода в Российском культурном центре

 

12 января в Российском культурном центре в Тель-Авиве состоялся вечер-презентация хорошо известного в Израиле литературно-художественного журнала "Русское литературное эхо", уже ряд лет издающегося в Ашдоде при поддержке вице-мэра города Бориса Гитермана.

Открывая вечер, руководитель представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле Александр Крюков рассказал о плодотворных и разнообразных контактах РКЦ с творческими и ветеранскими организациями русскоязычной общины Ашдода, в частности об участии в ежегодном Международном конкурсе русской поэзии им. В. Добина, для которого РКЦ учредил свою премию «За бережное отношение к русскому языку в литературном творчестве». А. Крюков также высоко оценил весомый вклад авторов журнала «Русское литературное эхо» в популяризацию русской культуры в Израиле и поддержание культурных связей с коллегами в России.

Затем ведущая вечера, заместитель главного редактора журнала, член Союза русскоязычных писателей, литератор и поэт Ася Тепловодская предоставила слово главному редактору журнала, литературоведу профессору Григорию Окуню, 90-летие которого отмечалось в прошедшем году.

Среди выступлений литераторов и публицистов, постоянных авторов журнала, отметим члена редколлегии поэта Ханана Токаревича, порадовавшего многочисленных любителей русской словесности стихами и авторской песней «Ашдодский вальс».

В концертной программе вечера с песнями на русском языке и иврите выступила юная Дана Немировская, солистка известного в Израиле детского ансамбля «Цветы Ашдода», победительница всеизраильского конкурса «Золотая девятка» (2009) в номинации «Звёзды будущего».

Почётными гостями вечера были постоянные авторы журнала – патриарх советской литературы Анатолий Алексин и его супруга литератор-мемуарист Татьяна Алексина, а также известный писатель и переводчик, председатель Федерации писательских союзов Израиля Эфраим Баух и секретарь Союза русскоязычных писателей Израиля литературовед и писатель Леонид Финкель.
