In keeping with the varied activities of the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv concerning the preservation and promotion of the Russian language in Israel,the second meeting of the series "to preserve the Russian language in the family." took place.

The agenda of the meeting dealt with issues of vocabulary enrichment and language development of children from Russian-speaking families.

An interview, prepared and conducted by the head of the Methodological office of the Russian language RCC PhD TA Yatsuk, was attended by parents whose children are studying in Russian language courses in the RFP, as well as teachers and writers.

During the opening of the meeting, it was emphasized that one of the main indicators of mental and speech development of the child is the richness of his vocabulary, as well as the ability to coherently and emotionally express their thoughts.

That's why it is important to pay particular attention to the culture of speech and speaking in Russian in the family.
Great help to enrich the vocabulary of children may be a variety of Russian dictionaries, collections of proverbs and sayings, tales and poems
The best examples from the RCC library fund of the Russian language were also submitted to the meeting.

Rich experience in the conservation of the Russian language in the family shared the poet SI Martyniuk (Tel Aviv), to acquaint listeners with his poems, lullabies and stories for children from the book, donated to the RCC library.

Organizer of language courses in Ramat Gan, EG Babat described the methodical efficiency of theatrical drama, involving children, who study the Russian language.

At the end of the conversation, the participants received training materials, containing recommendations for the enrichment of vocabulary and speech development of the child through game tasks and texts.
