New Year's Opening Day in
Tel Aviv
The first month
of the new
2010 was marked by a Rossiyskom
cultural center in Tel Aviv,
the opening of three exhibits
- two exhibitions of paintings and
graphics, as well as exhibitions
of dolls. The authors
of all the
exhibited works are Israeli artist,
who came from Russia and
some other CIS countries.
Opening the evening,
director of the RCC Kryukov congratulated the gathered with the
start of the new year,
as the artist
wished to new successes and
presented mementos from the Center.
Presenting authors of the
exhibited works - Svetlana Lukash (city of Bat
Yam), Anna Zarnitsky (city of Holon) and
Helen Vanetik (Haifa), director of the RCC noted
that special interest attaches to the January
opening day of its thematic,
stylistic and genre diversity.

by the executive
secretary of the Association of Professional Artists of Israel
B. Kotlyar, stressing that the work
of women artists is bright
and very much part of
contemporary art process.

which includes oil paintings and
graphics. S. Lucas
tells visitors RCCs with its
exhibition "And there was light
...", consisting of urban and rural
landscapes, portraits and genre sketches.
Both the
artist donated a painting RCC.
Of particular interest
to visitors opening day brought
an exhibition of dolls handcrafted
"Russia: life and customs" created by theater
designer Helen Vanetik. All the exposition the author presented
a gift to
RCC.
On the
opening day was attended by
ambassadors and members of the
diplomatic corps number of countries,
artists, representatives of other creative
professions, as well as many
art lovers.
Collective exhibition
will run in the RCC until
the end of January.
