Opening 5th Cinema International Festival "Russian film - 2009" in Tel Aviv
December 1, the Russian cultural center in Tel Aviv inaugurated the 5th Cinema International Festival "Russian film - 2009".
Opening the evening, Director
of the RCC, Alexander Kryukov introduced
the guests: the world-famous cartoonist, filmmaker and author who became the
classic animated film "Hedgehog in the Fog" and "Tale of Tales,
Yuri Norstein Russia and talented actor, director, poet and public figure
Alexander Pankratov - Black, received this year's
title of People's Artist of Russia.
Speaking later, the head of the association "Pearl screen"
(Moscow) and director of Film Forum Igor Yarinskih thanked the Embassy of
Russia and the RCC for their help in organizing and conducting the festival and
wished all lovers of cinema of Russia in Israel pleasant views.
Pankratov-Cherny talked
about his difficult creative destiny and read several poems from a new poetry
collection "I want to say ...", a copy of which he presented to the
library of RCC.
During the informal part of the
evening the audience could interact with your favorite artists, take pictures
with them and get an autograph.
The program was opened by the
film shows a demonstration of a new documentary film directed by Sergei
Miroshnichenko's "Word" about the fate and work of AIexander Solzhenitsyn.
The party was attended by representatives of the Embassy
of Russia, the leaders of the Israeli artistic unions, public officials, and
numerous fans of Russia's
cinema. The
5th International Film Forum "Russian
film - 2009" in Israel, which is organized by the Moscow association
